week7
Supplies: Sobe patterned paper by Karla Dudley and Yesterday & Today Template 7 by Ali Edwards. I also used Adobe Garamond Pro, Alte Haas Grotesk, and Laura’s Thin Print fonts.

This week’s page was all about comparing then and now. I was so glad I did that recent blog post comparing Cameron because when it was  time to write the journaling, the thoughts came very easily.
The problem with this page was the photos. I had the hardest time with these photos because that swing is just so bright. In the end, I feel like a did a good job of matching everything to the swing. The story is told and that is what is most important, right? Here is the journaling:

Then, you were three weeks old. Now, you are five and a half months old.

Then, you weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces and were 19.25 inches long. Now, you are about 16 pounds, 3 ounces, and 25.75 inches long.

Then, you did not smile or laugh. Now, you spend your entire days smiling and laughing.

Then, you did not sleep through the night. Now, you sleep around eight hours a night.

Then, you took around seven nap a day. Now, you only take three naps a day.

Then, you only ate two ounces of formula. Now, you eat six, sometimes eight, ounces.

Then, you did not play much, you just wonderously looked around our home. Now, you are comfortable with your surroundings and love to play with all of your toys.

Then, you wore preemie and newborn sized clothing. Now, you wear 6-9 months.

Then, newborn size diapers were too big. Now, size three diapers are just right.

Then, you were a very very quiet boy. Now, you spend your days cooing and squealing.

Then, we loved you so very much. Now, we love you endlessly.

Thank you for visiting me today! :)
